This is great and everything but sometimes it can be difficult to converse with your buddies. ICQ Translator is a good solution for anyone who wants to make sure they don't get confused when chatting with foreign friends online, because it's designed to instantly translate your chat conversations to and from a range of different languages.

The application supports a fairly wide range of different languages including all the big ones such as English, Spanish, French, German and Russian. However, the Chinese language is noteable by its absence. Like many translation apps, the language conversion is far from perfect grammatically, but it's enough to get the gist of what the other person is rabbiting on about. Besides supporting ICQ, the program can also be used with other popular IM clients, including MSN, Yahoo! and AIM.
